1. what was the first anime episode you ever watched?
I don't remember specifically which episode, but I think Sailor Moon was the anime. I walked into my sister's room and saw her watching it on her television. I asked her what it was and she told me. After that we watched it together a lot.
2. What was the first anime series you completely finished?
Well, I haven't seen every episode of Sailor Moon but... actually I have no clue! This stuff is hard to remember. My best guess though is Zero No Tsukaima. I watched all of the episodes and seasons to that one.
3. what was the first manga you read?
Love Hina probably. I remember I used to sneak into my sister's room and carefully take them off her shelf. I was probably too young to be reading that stuff xD
4. Favorite female manga character?
I really like Victorique from Gosick. She's incredibly smart, non-conformist, and thinks of others before herself when it counts the most.
5. Favorite anime?
The way I feel about anime is the same way I feel about TV shows and movies -- I can't pick a favorite. I can either like or dislike or go so-so.
11. Favorite manga
Now manga is something different and to this I would have to answer Gakuen Alice. Because Tachibana Higuchi is a Genius.
12. What are you watching now?
I just got done rewatching Sailor Moon Super S. Now I'm going back and watching Sailor Moon S. I'm also watching them all in japanese with eng subtitles apposed to when I was a kid and watched them in eng dub.
13. What are you reading now.
Black Butler. It seemed interesting to me since I like gothy stuff and historicals. I need to get back to the book store to buy the next issue, # 4 I believe.
14. First anime/ manga purchase?
With my own money the first manga series I ever bought was probably Tsubasa Reservior Chronical by CLAMP. Again, I was probably too young for the violence and drama in that series. I haven't finished it yet though, I stopped at # 24 I think. Another series I need to buy at the book store.
15. Oh goodness, this is going to be hard. Here, let me think this through........okay well, I'd have to say I identify with Makoto Kino or Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon. She's different than most girls in size and strength and she loves to cook.
16. Least favorite anime?
Time to hate! lol, jk. The anime that I dislike the most would have to be.... Kimi Ni Todoke. Although I barely gave it a chance-- I only watched the first episode and I was bored stiff the whole time. It could have gotten better, I just lost interest then and there.
17. That would have to be Chibi Vampire. I didn't like the storyline for one. It didn't seem to have substance and It seemed like one of those typical gothic mangas about vampires. I didn't like the art either. The female characters were drawn well for the most part, but I feel like the artist really struggled with the male characters (especially how big their noses should be).
18. anime you didn't think would be good but now you love?
Sadly I don't think I can put anything here. There's plenty of anime that have disappointing me but none I went into without high expectations.
20. What animes would you recommend?
Ikoku Meiro No Croisée
Gosick (although I'm currently reading the manga)
The Story of Saiunkoku
CardCaptor Sakura
Alice Academy
Kyuuketsuki Miyu
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
